Summer Vibe!

 It's the time of the year again, when you have an excuse to show off some skin and pull off those bikinis. No doubt that it's summer already, I can feel the heat striking on my skin. Time to say goodbye to the sweater weather and lazy day outfit-to-go, pullovers. 

Since it's beginning to look a lot like summer already, I can finally wear my toddler (as what my friends like to call it) clothes and bare some skin (only during weekends, though)!! I've been saving up some of my clothes for this season and I just can't wait to have my summer outings and wear them! 

Since I've attended a baptism today, I tried to pair my summer-ish top with a decent bottom which is my very reliable, palazzo pants. I wanted to attain a summer looking vibe without looking so daring and showy.

Priceless

Nothing beats a spontaneous date with the boyfriend. This is what I wore yesterday for our unplanned date at Megamall. I wish I could really stop time while I'm with him since we rarely see each other because of his work. Oh well, I can't blame him. Glad he still makes time to see me and go shopping with me! 

I am lovin' this top so much! Such a summer steal! I went for a Boho Look yesterday and the boyfriend loved it. He said I look fresh and slim. Haha. That's what I love about him; Putting up pretty liars just to make me smile. Oh, the little things.

Pastel is the New Black

The new black is pastel. No doubt that it's the apple of the eye this Spring Summer 2013. A pastel colored clothing is not only sober and soft but also attractive when you put on. It gives you that feminine, sweet and playful look just perfect for this season. What makes me love this trend is that it is easy to pair up with - may it be with laces, color blocking with another pastel color, knits (name it, you can pair it with pastels!). 

Please excuse my chubbiness! These outfit shots were taken during the holy week and I am in gym hiatus that moment(not to mention my endless eating sesh with the family). 

I got this flower ring from Forever21 in a double markdown price (can you guess how much this one cost?)! Such a bargain!

Royal Houndstooth

I've been very eager to try out this huge trend paving in this season, the hounds tooth print. I luckily found this piece while strolling around the mall, I tell you this one's such a steal! It goes well with everything - any color, any type of bottoms and what not. 

I've intended to pair this up with a black bandage skirt to create that sleek classy look but since I haven't worn this Royal Blue skirt for the longest time ever, why not try this out.

We attended a kiddie party at Max's Restaurant - the biggest here in the country (located at Scout Tuazon). It was sure a fun fun and angst free day for my family! Everyone felt like we're kiddos again, including my dad. Haha!
